Children & Youth Activities

At Holland Road Baptist Church we take seriously the responsibility of caring for and teaching God’s word to the children and youth that come through our doors.  We strive to do our best to spread the good news of Jesus Christ according to the Bible in a fun and safe learning environment.  We accomplish this goal through our Sunday school classes which are conducted in an organized classroom setting using fun learning activities to teach and reinforce the word of God.

Our children and youth groups are not as structured as our Sunday school classes.  Nor are they taught in an organized classroom setting.  We group our children and youth by age appropriate sections.  Generally, they are set up to accommodate children from Pre-school through 12th grade.  The youngest group comprises Pre-school through 1st grade. Team Kids consists of 2nd through 5th grade, and Youth group includes 6th through 12th grade. We will however make any concession necessary to place your child in the group they feel more comfortable in, regardless of their actual grade level in school.

These groups are geared to provide a fun and safe environment where they can fellowship with their peers, have a lot of fun, and learn Biblical practices that help them mature as  individuals.  Special activities include pizza and movie nights, bowling outings, miniature golf, drama, skits, music, puppets, missions and outreach opportunities with some activities out of the area.  Please see the additional information below or contact the church to learn more about the regularly scheduled children and youth activities.  We look forward to having the opportunity to serve your children.
